Facts

The appellant [A.] suffered accidents to her cervical spine in 1997 and 2004 and underwent multiple surgeries. She subsequently filed several criminal complaints against the treating physician for various offenses, none of which resulted in a conviction. On April 20, 2017, [A.] filed a criminal complaint against a German product safety testing agency for suspected forgery of certificates dated July 1, 2003 and July 9, 2003 concerning the prosthesis model used on her. She also accused the Public Prosecutor's Office of Basel-Stadt of abuse of office and complicity, as it had tolerated the University Hospital of Basel withholding a large number of seized medical records in the proceedings against the treating physician. [A.] appealed against the non-consideration of the proceedings, whereupon the Court of Appeal of Basel-Stadt did not enter into the appeal on January 15, 2018.
