Facts
[A.] is the mother of [C.], born in 2003 from a relationship with B. In 2003, the guardianship authority established a guardianship for [C.] and entrusted [D.] with the mandate of curator. There is a situation of strong conflict between the parents, involving the child. The father is currently granted a minimum visitation right of two monthly meetings, to be exercised under the supervision of specialized personnel. However, the personal relations between the father and the child have been interrupted since 2010.
By decision of June 19, 2012, the guardianship authority rejected B.'s request to revoke the curator's mandate from [D.] and to appoint an educational curator. B. appealed this decision, which was partially upheld by the Protection Chamber of the Court of Appeal of the Canton of Ticino. The latter revoked the mandate from [D.] and established an educational guardianship for [C.] pursuant to Art. 308 para. 1 CC, instructing the child protection authority to appoint a suitable educational curator.
[A.] has appealed to the Federal Court, requesting the reform of the judgment in the sense that B.'s complaint be rejected insofar as it demands the appointment of an educational curator for [C.] pursuant to Art. 308 CC.

However, the findings of fact of the lower authority show that the danger to the child's well-being remains limited to the serious difficulties in exercising the right of visitation. In these circumstances, the most appropriate…
