The appellant [X.] was sentenced by the Jury Court of the Canton of Zurich on 27 February 2008 to a custodial sentence of 4 years and a fine of 500 Swiss francs for attempted robbery, multiple threats, bodily harm and multiple acts of violence. On 8 February 2009 and 3 June 2009, he applied for conditional release from the criminal execution on 14 July 2009.
