Decision regarding a contravention for non-compliance with an invalid parking prohibition

Facts

The applicant X. was convicted by the police judge of the city of Zurich to a fine of 20 francs for having parked his vehicle on 25 November 1975 in a prohibited zone in Zurich, in violation of Art. 27 para. 1 RTA. X. contested this decision before the courts. The Cantonal Court upheld the sanction. X. then filed a nullity appeal with the Federal Tribunal.
