Facts
L., born in 1975, worked as an investment advisor at the company W. AG from November 8, 1997. He terminated the employment relationship on May 23, 1998, effective June 30, 1998, with the notice period subsequently extended to June 30, 1998. On June 23, 1998, L. registered with the municipal employment office G. for job placement and applied the same day to the Public Unemployment Insurance Fund of the Canton of Aargau for unemployment compensation starting July 1, 1998. The Unemployment Insurance Fund suspended L.'s entitlement to benefits for eight days from July 1, 1998 due to self-inflicted unemployment.
