Facts

The appellant [X.] drove his car on the main road in Amlikon on 1 March 2005 and exceeded the general maximum speed of 50 km/h by 18 km/h. The Road Traffic Office of the Canton of Thurgau warned him on 22 April 2005. The appellant lodged an appeal, which the Appeal Commission for Road Traffic Matters of the Canton of Thurgau dismissed on 27 June 2005.

Prior to the aforementioned appeal decision, the District Court of Weinfelden had convicted the appellant by penalty order of 28 April 2005 for exceeding the speed limit in a built-up area by 18 km/h pursuant to Art. 90 para. 1 in conjunction with Art. 32 para. 2 RTA to a fine of CHF 350.--. This penalty order remained unchallenged and became final.

The appellant lodges an administrative court appeal with the request to set aside the decision of the Appeal Commission for Road Traffic Matters of the Canton of Thurgau of 27 June 2005 and to refrain from taking any measures against him.

The speed of a vehicle must always be adjusted to the circumstances and in particular to the visibility conditions. In…
